Shogi News ; Kisei sen ;

3rd game of Kisei 5 games match between SATO and HABU started 2 July 2008 A.M. 9:00, at Sumoto , Hyogo .

Sente; HABU Yoshiharu (Meijin , Osho , Oza)
Gote; SATO Yasumitsu (Kisei , Kio)

7. K-6i P-4d
8. G-5h G-4c
9. B-7i S-3c
( diagram 1)

HABU selected "Yagura" , and SATO accept it . HABU choiced "3. S-7g", but many professional shogi players choice "3. P-6f " when they selected "Yagura opening " . I don't know why HABU choiced this move .

SATO seems to plan "Hayagakoi" ; after Bishop moved to 3a , King move into Yagura gakoi by 4b->3b->2b and finish making Yagura with G-3b . By this plan , SATO can castling his King without Bishop's move (from 3a-> 4b , 5c or 6d) .

HABU made the attacking form with "S-3g" , if SATO selected "Hayagakoi" tactics HABU may move P-3e to make Yagura kuzushi formation . SATO didn't select "Hayagakoi" and prevent HABU's plan by B-6d .

HABU made Yagura gakoi , and castling his King into Yagura . But SATO didn't castling his King to 2b , his King moved 5b !!

The game still continue . You can see this game on the Net .
