By 4...Bx8h+ , KATSUMATA selected Ittezon Kakugawari as the opening of this game . HABU quickly advanced his right Silver onto 2f making Bougin attacking form and started attacking with 12.P-3e .

KATSUMATA swung his Rook with 13...R-4b making a Shiken Bisha form and started attacking the 4th file with 22...P-4f . After exchanging the Silvers and the Pawns , KATSUMATA let his Rook back with 26...R-4b . HABU dropped a Bishop with 27.B*3a attacking KATSUMATA's Rook .

KATSUMATA made Funa gakoi and advanced his right Silver with 10...S-6d to make an attacking form . KONDOU also advanced his right Silver with 16.S-4e and exchanged the 5th file Pawns by the Silver .

KATSUMATA also exchanged the 7th file Pawns and jumped the right Knight to prepare a battle . KONDOU dropped a Pawn with 20.P*7b to aim at making a promoted Pawn for attack .

By 2...P-3e , NISHIO selected ISHIDA ryu as a Gote player . Replying NISHIO's 2...P-3e , KATSUMATA moved up his King with 3.K-6h .

NISHIO still ranged his Rook with 3...R-3b , but KATSUMATA didn't selected the line ; 4.Bx2b+ Sx2b , 5.B*6e .


NISHIO pushed the 3rd file Pawn with 4...P-3f and advanced the 9th file Pawn with 5...P-9d . KATSUMATA exchanged the Bishops and dropped his one with 7.B*6e .

NISHIO also dropped a Bishop with 7...B*5d to prevent ;Bx4c+ , but allow KATSUMATA to promote the Bishop with 8.Bx8c+ . NISHIO advanced the 9th file Pawn with 10...P-9e and dropped a Pawn with 11...P*8f to attack left side of KATSUMATA's camp .

After some moves , NISHIO succeeded to remove KATSUMATA's promoted Bishop , and both players roughly attacked each other .

KATSUMATA made Funa gakoi and pushed the 6th file Pawn to defend the 5th file . After exchanging the 5th file Pawns , NAGANUMA quickly advanced the left Silver , completed Kata mino gakoi , he dropped a Pawn with 15.P*5e attacking KATSUMATA's 5d-Silver . KATSUMA let his 5d-Silver escape with 15...S-6e crushing it against the 5f-Silver .

KITAJIMA selected Yonteme San-San Kaku senpou as the opening of this game . KATSUMATA didn't exchange the Bishop as the 3rd move and moved up the right Silver with 3.S-4h . After some moves , KATSUMA exchanged the Bishops with 5.Bx3c+ . But some moves enabled KITAJIMA to capture KATSUMATA's promoted Bishop on 3c by Silver . KITAJIMA slided his Rook to 2h and his camp became Mukai Bisha . KATSUMATA made Hidari mino and KITAJIMA also started making his Kakoi .
