MARUYAMA selected Kakugawari as the opening of this game and WATANABE accepted it . MARUYAMA pushed the 4th file Pawn with 9.P-4f to make Koshikakegin form and WATANABE also start making same form .

While MARUYAMA was making classicla form , WATANABE moved up his left Silver with 11...S-3c and pushed the 6th file Pawn with 13...P-6e in the early stage of the game . Then WATANABE's camp became a defensive one .

SATO selected Yokofudori as the opening of this game , however TOYOSHIMA declined it by 8.R-2f and the opening of this game transposed to a variation of Aigakari .

After some moves , TOYOSHIMA slid his Rook with 12.R-3f aiming at the 3d-Pawn . SATO moved up his left Gold with 12...G-3c to protect the Pawn . TOYOSHIMA started making Ginkanmuri and SATO advanced his right Silver onto 6d , exchanged the 7th file Pawns .

Although TOYOSHIMA succeeded to make Ginkanmuri , his Kakoi has a defect in the 7th file . TOYOSHIMA pushed the 6th file Pawn with 30.P-6e to open a battle .
