SATO won over KUBO in a very rought game of ISHIDA ryu

Shogi News : The 35th Kio sen ; 5 games title match

7:18 P.M. (in CST) , 5 February 2010 , after 134 moves , SATO won the 1st game of this game . The score of this match becomes "KUBO 0 --- 1 SATO" .

The 2nd game will start 9:00 A.M. (in JST) , 27 February 2010 , at Hokkoku Shinbun Kaikan , Kanazawa city , Ishikawa .

KUBO selected ISHIDA ryu opening with 2.P-7e . Replying the move , SATO exchanged the Bishops with 2...Bx8h+ . KUBO captured the promoted Bishop by his Rook with 3.Rx8h and SATO dropped a Bishop with 3...B*4e selecting a very rough line .

KUBO also dropped a Bishop with 4.B*7f to protect the 6g-Pawn and aiming the 4c-Pawn in the same time . SATO moved up his King with 4...K-4b protecting the 4c-Pawn and KUBO moved up his right Silver with 5.S-3h protecting the 2g-Pawn .

SATO backed his Bishop with 5...B*5d aiming the Bishop drop on 2h after the 2nd Bishop exchange . After this Bishop drop , KUBO also dropped a Bishop with 8.B*5e attacking the 1a-Lance and aiming the 8b-Rook . SATO jumped the left Knight with 8...N-3c blocking the 5e-Bishop's line . KUBO exchanged the 5e-Bishop and SATO's 8b-Rook , and dropped a Rook with 11.R*1h attacking the 2h-Bishop . SATO dropped another Bishop with 11...B*3i to save the 2h-Bishop .

KUBO moved up his left Silver with 12.S-6h and SATO jumped the right Knight with 12...N-7c .
KUBO exchanged his 4i-Gold and SATO's 3i-Bishop with 13.Gx3i . After this exchange , KUBO dropped a Bishop with 14.B*4h to remove SATO's promoted Bishop . They exchanged the Bishops again . SATO dropped a Bishop with 15...B*6e attacking the 7f-Rook . KUBO's Rook escaped with 16.R-3f and SATO made a promoted Bishop with 16...Bx8g+ .

KUBO slid the left Gold with 17.G-7i to escape from the 8g-promoted Bishop . SATO advanced the 9th file Pawn with 17...P-9d to attack the 9th file before KUBO used the 1h-Rook . KUBO dropped a Bishop with 18.B*7f to remove SATO's promoted Bishop again . SATO further advanced the 9th file Pawn with 19...P-9e and started attacking the 9th file with 20...P-9f .

After the Lance exchange in the 9th file , KUBO dropped a Lance with 24.L*4f to attack the head of SATO's King . SATO moved his left Gold with 24...G4a-5b to defend . KUBO dropped a Pawn with 25.P*9b aiming the P-9b+ . SATO jumped the 7c-Knight with 25...N*6e to join the battle . KUBO dropped a Bishop with 26.B*5e attacking the 8b-Silver and the 3c-Knight . SATO defend the 3c-Knight with 26...S-3b and KUBO captured the 8b-Silver with 27.Bx8b+ .

SATO made a promoted Pawn with 27...P-7g+ and continued attacking . KUBO also tried to attack SATO's camp . But until 47...N-4e , SATO seemed to get an great advantage . Because SATO's King was more safety than KUBO's King , and KUBO had a useless Rook on 1h .
