KATO selected Kakugawari as the opening of this game and SHIMIZU accepted it . The game seemed to advance along a typical line of Kakugawari Koshikakegin .

SHIMIZU moved up her right Gold with 16...G-6c and she seemed to make Migi Gyoku form . Replying SHIMIZU's 16...G-6c , KATO crushed her right Silver with 17.S-4e and exchanged the Silvers . Then she slid her Rook with 19.R-4h and jumped the right Knight with 20.N-1g to prepare an attacking . SHIMIZU moved up her King with 18...K-6b making Migi Gyoku form and KATO started attacking with 21.N-2e .
