Shogi News : YAUCHI won the 1st game .(Jo-o)

Shogi News : The 2nd Jo-o : 5 games title match

5 : 42 P.M. 18 June 2009 , after 156 moves , YAUCHI won the 1st game of Jo-o 5 games title match . The score of this match becomes "YAUCHI 1---0 IWANE" . They will have next game of this match 2 July at Osaka city , Osaka .

IWANE is a Furibisha player and in this game she also shown an attitude to select Furibisha with 2.P-6f . She selected closde/standard Shiken Bisha with 3.R-6h .

YAUCHI frequently select Hidari mino or Yon-Go Fu Hayajikake as counter plans against Shiken Bisha . But she didn't select both plans . Her move 8...B-3c shown , she wants to select Ibisha Anaguma , Millenium or Kushikatsu gakoi . She moved up the right Silver through 5c to 4d and this moves sugested she will select Kushikatsu Gakoi .

IWANE's King entered Mino gakoi and YAUCHI started making Kushikatsu gakoi . While YAUCHI was making her Kakoi , IWANE developped her Kakoi thtough Taka mino gakoi to Ginkanmuri . After some moves , YAUCHI started attacking with 27...P-8f .

After the 8th file Pawns exchange , YAUCHI exchanged the Bishops and dropped her one to continue attacking . IWANE once protected 7g Knight with R-7h and started counterattacking with a Bishop dropping on 5a . And IWANE started attacking in the 2nd file with P-2e too .

After some moves , IWANE seemed to get a slight advantage , but she had only a few mininutes to think left . The position was still difficult .
