Shogi News : MORIUCHI won over HABU's Ittezon Kakukawari . (Ryuo sen)

Shogi News : The 22th Ryuo sen : challenger deciding tournament ; The 1st semi final game

The evening of 7 August 2009 , after 95 moves , MORIUCHI won the 1st semi final game of Ryuo sen . He will have the final 3 games match of this tournament , with the winner of the other semi final game between KUBO and FUKAURA .

HABU selected Ittezon Kakukawari as the opening of this game and he naturaly developped his camp to Koshikakegin formation . MORIUCHI simply advanced his right Silver and attacking with Bougin strategy .

Sacrificing a Silver , MORIUCHI tried to break the 1st file of HABU's camp . HABU tried to defend the 1st and 2nd file by dropping a Silver in hand with 15...S*2c . But dropping a Bishop , MORIUCHI continued attacking .

Replying MORIUCHI's Bishop dropping , HABU also dropped a Bishop . But MORIUCHI continued attacking with capturing the 3d-Pawn by his Bishop and with dropping a Lance in hand with 20.L*2g .

Since the left side of HABU's camp already almost impossible to defend , HABU tried to attack MORIUCHI's camp by his dropped Bishop . After some moves , MORIUCHI completely broke the left side of HABU's camp and HABU got a Rook in hand .
