KUBO selected Haya ISHIDA opening as the opening of this game with 2.P-7e . AKUTSU selected 2...P-1d line . After the Rook's move , KUBO started making Kakoi .

AKUTSU quietly moved up the right Silver with 4...S-6b . In stead of 4...S-6b , AKUTSU could open a battle with the line , 4...Bx8h+ , 5.Sx8h B*4e . But AKUTSU didn't select this line . (sample game ; The 59th NHK cup ABE vs YAGURA )

Suddenly KUBO pushed the 7th file Pawn and opened the battle with 5.P-7d . In many case of Haya ISHIDA (include MASUDA shiki ISHIDA ryu) , such a move ; P-7d is not effective against the opponent's reply with G-7b . In this game , AKUTSU also replied with 5...G-7b . But in this line AKUTSU's 2 moves ; P-1d & P-1e became useless moves , and the development of his camp delayed .

KUBO dropped a Pawn with 7.P*7d and his left Knight jumed 2 times with N-7g , N-6e and joined attacking .
