By 3...R-3b , KANKI selected Sanken Bisha as the opening of this game . While YAMAMOTO was making Ibisha Anaguma , KANKI tried to make ISHIDA ryu hongumi .

KANKI moved up his left Silver with 13...S-5d threatening the head of the 7g-Bishop but , YAMAMOTO didn't defend . KANKI advanced the 5d-Silver with 14...S-6e aiming at the 7f-Pawn and YAMAMOTO started attacking with 16.P-4e after sacrificing the 2nd file Pawn .

KANKI captured the 7f-Pawn with 16...Sx7f attacking the 7g-Bishop . YAMAMOTO captured the 4d-Pawn with 17.Bx4d escaping from the 7f-Silver . After sacrificing the 3rd file Pawn with 17...P-3f , KANKI dropped a Pawn with 18...P*3h .

After some moves , KANKI dropped a Bishop with 24...B*6e forking the 7d-Rook and the 8g-Silver . YAMAMOTO backed his Rook with 25.R-7f protecting the 8g-Silver and the Rook . KANKI didn't capture the Rook , but captured the 2i-Knight .

YAMAMOTO also dropped a Bishop with 16.B*5e attacking the 9a-Lance and KANKI dropped a Knight to block the 5e-Bishop's power .

YAMAMOTO sacrificed his promoted Rook and continued attacking , so that KANKI's Mino gakoi was almost completely broken . YAMAMOTO dropped a Bishop with 44.B*4b attacking the 3a-Rook , and KANKI attacked YAMAMOTO's Ibisha Anaguma with 44...Lx7h+ .
