Around 6:00 P.M. (JST) , 8 March 2011 , KUBO sealed the 40th move and the game once stopped this evening . The game will restart 9:00 A.M. (JST) , next morning and will end next evening .

By 3...R-5b , KUBO selected Gokigen Nakabisha as the opening of this game . TOYOSHIMA quickly advanced his right Silver onto 4f making Chosoku San-Nana Gin senpou attacking form .

KUBO made Kata mino gakoi and moved up the left Gold with 10...G-3b to prepare a battle .

Replying TOYOSHIMA's 11.S-7g , KUBO exchanged the 5th file Pawns . TOYOSHIMA dropped a Pawn with 13.P*5e to catch KUBO's Rook . KUBO exchanged his Rook for TOYOSHIMA's Pawn and Silver with 14...Bx5e attacking the 2h-Rook .

TOYOSHIMA let his Rook escape with 15.R-1h and KUBO dropped a Silver with 15...S*2h to attack TOYOSHIMA's Rook . TOYOSHIMA pushed the 4th file Pawn to disturb KUBO's attack .
