NODA selected Mukai Bisha as the opening of this game . TAMARU selected Hiki Kaku senpou as the counter-plan against NODA's Mukai Bisha with 5...S-3b . NODA exchanged the 8th file Pawns before TAMARU backed the Bishop .

TAMARU dropped a Pawn with 7...P*8e to prevent NODA's ;B-4b+ . After the King move , NODA jumped the left Knight with 13.N-6e before TAMARU's making Kakoi .

After the Rook exchange TAMARU succeeded to make a promoted Rook and continued attacking the 5th file .
