By 3.B-7g , KUBOTA selected reversed Yonteme San-San Kaku senpou with P-1f . HORIGUCHI immediately exchanged the Bishops with 3...Bx7g+ and moved up his King with 4...K-4b to prevent 5.R-8h .

KUBOTA dropped his Bishop with 6.B*6f forcing HORIGUCHI to drop a Bishop with 6...B*2b . KUBOTA pushed the 2nd file Pawn with 7.P-2f aiming at HORIGUCHI's Bishop . HORIGUCHI exchanged the Bishops again to avoid being attacked his Bishop .

Both players made Koshikakegin form and after making Anaguma , HORIGUCHI started attacking with 23...P-3e .

After some moves battle , both player made their each Rook promoted . Then KUBOTA selected relatively defensive line , and HATAKEYAMA tried to continue attacking .

They moved their each King to make Kakoi . Before completed making a Kakoi , HATAKEYAMA exchanged the Bihsops with 8...Bx7g+ . KUBOTA started attacking the 8th file with 11.P-8f .

HATAKEYAMA dropped a Bishop with 13...B*5d and captured the 7f-Pawn by the Bishop with 14...Bx7f . KUBOTA moved up the 7h-Gold with 15.G-7g attacking the 7f-Bishop . Before the Bishop's escape , HATAKEYAMA dropped a Pawn with 15...P*8g attacking the 8h-Rook driving away from the 8th file and aiming the 8e-Pawn capture .

TAKAHASHI advanced the 5th file Pawn with 24.P-5e threatening P*4f to kill the 4e-Silver . KUBOTA dropped a Pawn with 24...P*4f to prevent this line . TAKAHASHI dropped a Silver with 25.S*5g and exchanged the Silvers again . But during this second Silver exchange , KUBOTA pushed the 5th file Pawn , this is because KUBOTA could drop a Silver again with 27...S*4e .

Both players were making their each Kakoi for a while . YAUCHI made Kushikatsu gakoi and KUBOTA made Taka mino gakoi .

YAUCHI also dropped a Pawn with 23.P*5h to defend the 5th file , and KUBOTA advanced the 1st file Pawn threatening YAUCHI's King .

After some moves , YAUCHI exchanged the Rooks and the 2nd file Pawns . Since KUBOTA's 3c-Knight was protected by the 5e-Bishop , YAUCHI couldn't capture it . KUBOTA dropped a Rook with 30...R*2h attacking YAUCHI's 2d-Bishop .

YAUCHI also dropped a Rook with 31.R*2c to protect the 2d-Bishop . KUBOTA dropped a Pawn with 31...P*2b attacking the 2c-Rook . This seems to be a good move , because if YAUCHI captured the Pawn with 32.Rx2b , KUBOTA at least would get a material advantage by 32...N-4e attacking both the 2b-Rook and the 3g-Knight . Sacrificing a Rook , YAUCHI tried to continue attacking .

Although YAUCHI dropped a Knight on 6d attacking KUBOTA's camp , KUBOTA's promoted Pawns were slowly closing to YAUCHI's King .
