Until 3...R-5b , TANAKA selected Gokigen Nakabisha as the opening of this game . SATO selected MARUYAMA vaccin line by Bishop exchange and pushed the 9th file Pawn with 5.P-9f to select SATO's variation .

SATO seemed to make Hidari mino , however he developed his camp to something like ITODANI ryu Migi Gyoku formation .

After some moves TANAKA started attacking with 31...P-5e and SATO counter-attacked TANAKA's camp and dropped a Bishop with 34.B*3b .

MATSUO's King entered Hidari mino , but he immediately started developping the Kakoi to Gin tachi Yagura . This strategy is usually called Gyoku tou Kurai dori .

In the other hand , KUBO completed one of the standard formations of Kaku koukan Furibisha ; S-4d , N-3c , R-2a , G-4b . And he developped his Kata mino gakoi to Kata Gin kanmuri .

After developped the camp , KUBO advanced his 4d-Silver with 19...S-5e , aiming at 6f-Pawn . MATSUO protected the Pawn by moving up the left Gold with 20.G-6g . Then KUBO advanced his 4th file Pawn and started attacking in the 4th file with 21...P-4e .

This variation is one of the most popular counterplan against Gokigen Nakabisha . NAGANUMA made Kata mino gakoi and KATAGAMI made Hidari mino . NAGANUMA started developping his Kata mino gakoi to Kata Ginkanmuri with 11...P-8d , before he slided his Rook to 2b .

NAGANUMA slided and back his Rook with 15...R-2b and 18...R-2a to prpare attacking . KATAGAMI built Koshikake Gin formation , the effective form after Bishop exchange , with 16.S-5f . NAGANUMA crushed his attacking Silver with 22...S-5e and the battle was opened .
