After pushing the 1st file Pawns , HABU selected Gokigen Nakabisha as the opening of this game . SATO quickly advanced his right Silver making Chosoku San-Nana Gin senpou attacking form .

HABU moved up the left Silver with 9...S-4b and pushed the 5th file Pawn with 10...P-5f to exchange the Pawns .

Replying HABU's 5th file Pawn exchange , SATO exchanged the Bishops and dropped it with 14.B*4e after sacrificing the 3rd file Pawn with 13.P-3e . SATO succeeded to make a promoted Bishop . HABU drove away the promoted Bishop and he also made a promoted Bishop .

After some moves , SATO's attacking pieces all driven away and HABU's all attacking pieces became very effective .

KUBO selected Gokigen Nakabisha , his favorite strategy , in this game . MARUYAMA quickly advanced his right Silver before he completed the Kakoi , selecting Chosoku San-Nana Gin senpou , a popular counter-plan against Gokigen nakabisha .

After strengthen the Kakoi with 10.S-6h, MARUYAMA started attacking KUBO's Bishop head with 11.S-4e . KUBO backed his Bishop with 11...B-2b and Rook with 13...R-5a to prepare the battle .

After both players opened the Bishop line with 1.P-7f P-3d , HIROSE ranged his Rook with 2.R-6h without closing the Bishop line . Until this move , the game will advance into Sente Shiken Bisha game or Sente open style Shiken Bisha game .

However , HABU advanced the 3rd file Pawn with 2...P-3e to show his attitude to want Ai Furibisha game . HIROSE exchanged the Bishops with 3.Bx2b+ , and against HABU's 4...R-3b , HIROSE dropped a Bishop with 5.B*6e forking the 4c and the 8c Pawns . HABU also dropped a Bishop with 5...B*5d to defend .
