IIJIMA selected Yokofudori as the opening of this game and KIMURA accepted it by 8.Rx3d . IIJIMA moved up his Bishop with 8...B-3c the most common line of Yokofudori games .

KIMURA backed his Rook with 9.R-3f and moved up his King with 10.K-5h making Nakazumai Gyoku form . IIJIMA also made Nakazumai Gyoku form with 10...K-5b and backed his Rook with 11...R-8d . Then the variation of this game ran along a classical line of Yokofudori .

They exchanged the Bihsops and IIJIMA dropped a Bishop with ...B*5d trying to break KIMURA's camp . KIMURA prevented to be broken his camp , however IIJIMA trying to break the 1st file .
