WATANABE won the 5th game of the Ryuo sen title match !

Shogi News : The 23rd Ryuo sen ; 7 games title match


At 7:43 P.M. (JST) , after 155 moves , WATANABE won the 5th game of the Ryuo sen title match . The score of this match becomes "WATANABE 3 --- 2 HABU" .

Then WATANABE needs only one more win to defend his title , Ryuo . In the other hand , HABU needs 2 continuous wins without any other loses to get the Ryuo title .

The 6th game of this match will start 14 December 2010 at Hotel Associa Takayama Resort , Takayama city , Gifu .

HABU exchanged the 7th file Pawns and WATANABE prepared an attack in the 3rd file . HABU attacked WATANABE's 9g-Bishop with 32...P-9e , and WATANABE started attacked HABU's camp .

After exchanging Knights in the 3c , WATANABE sacrificed his Bishop with 38.Bx6d to continued attacking . After some moves , WATANABE succeeded to make his Rook promoted and still continued attacking .
