IIJIMA selected "Ittezon Kakukawari" as the opening of this game . HABU pushed his Rook Pawn with P-2e . IIJIMA exchanged the Bishops and he advanced his left Silver to 3c square . HABU selcted "Hayakuri Gin" as a counter plan .

HABU started attacking in 3rd file with P-3e . IIJIMA advanced his Rook Pawn with P-8e and counterattacked in 8th file with P-8f . When HABU moved 16.S-4f , you may think IIJIMA could promote his Rook with 16...R-8g+ . But HABU had a counter 17.R-8h +Rx8h 18. Sx8h . After Sx8h , HABU can drop his Rook on 8b . Then IIJIMA dropped a Pawn with P*8f . Both players dropped their Bishops and after some moves HABU attacked in right wing and tried to continue attacking with Rook sacrifice .

After some moves , SATO promoted his Rook and KUBO promoted his Bishop . In diagram 2 , SATO couldn't use his promoted Pawns and 1a Silver effectively and KUBO got a slight advantage .

After moving K-4h , KUBO tried to exchange 7th file pawn with P-7d , but most players think this move is bad move . Perhaps SATO also thought it and he replied with G-7b , the best reply that OHYAMA 15th life time Meijin played . Then KUBO shown the new move R-7e , no professional palyers had ever played .
