The 1st game of the Meijin sen title match between HABU and MIURA has started 9:00 A.M. (JST) , 8 April 2010 at Chinzanso , Bunkyo ku , Tokyo .

The game started with MIURA's 1.P-2f . This move shows MIURA wants Aigakari (or Kakugwari ) game for this game if HABU accepts MIURA's plan by 1...P-8d . However , HABU declines MIURA's plan by 1...P-3d , and advances the game to Yokofudori opening .

Until 8.Rx3d , MIURA accepts Yokofudori and HABU selects San-San Kaku senpou line by 8...B-3c .

MIURA backs his Rook with 9.R-3f and HABU moves up his left Silver with 9...S-2b before the 8d-Rook's move . MIURA sets his King onto Nakazumai Gyoku position with 10.K-5h . HABU slides his King with 10...K-4a to make NAKAHARA gakoi .

MIURA drops a Pawn with 11.P*8g and HABU backs the Rook with 11...R-8e onto the CHUZA Bisha position . MIURA lets his Rook return to the 2nd file with 12.R-2f and HABU continues making NAKAHARA Gakoi with 12...S-6b .

After exchanging the Bishops , MIURA jumps the left Knight with 14.N-7g attacking the 8e-Rook . HABU backs the Rook with 14...R-8d escaping from the 7g-Knight's attack .

MIURA advances the 7th file Pawn with 15.P-7e to prepare attacking in the left side of the board . HABU completes making NAKAHARA gakoi with 15...G-5a . MIURA moves up the left Silver with 16.S-6h to strengthen the center area of his camp and to open the King's escape route .

MIURA sacrifices a Pawn with 18.P-7d and drops a Pawn with 19.P*7b to start attacking . HABU backs his Rook with 19...R-8a . After sacrifices a Pawn again with 21.P-7a+ , MIURA drops a Bishop with 22.B*8b attacking the 7a-Rook .

HABU seals the 44th move and the game once stops the evening . The game will restart next morning .
