ITODANI selected Ittezon Kakugawari as the opening of this game . SATO quickly advanced his right Silver onto 2g and he seemed to select Bougin . However , SATO ranged his Rook with 8.R-8h ; the Mukai Bisha position .

SATO made a variation of Kata Ginkanmuri and ITODANI made Hekomi Yagura . ITODANI pushed the 2nd file Pawn with 19...P-2d and exchanged the Pawns in this file .

SATO advanced his left Silver and exchanged it with ITODANI's one . After the Silver exchange SATO dropped a Bishop with 26.B*6c and ITODANI pushed the 7th file Pawn with 26...P-7e aiming at the 7g-Knight's head .

SATO captured the 8e-Pawn with 27.Nx8e escaping from an attack in the 7th file . ITODANI exchanged the 3rd file Pawn and put a Pawn on 4f for an attacking base .

ITODANI attacked around SATO's Kakoi and SATO attacked ITODANI's Rook for a while . SATO also started attacking ITODANI's King . After some moves , ITODANI dropped a Pawn with 51...P*2g to attack SATO's King directly .
