Shogi Game record : The 3rd Asahi cup Shogi open


A shogi game of the Asahi cup Shogi open between KUBO and SATO started 2:00 P.M. (JST) 19 January 2010 .

Both players opened their Bishop line and pushed the 1st file Pawns . KUBO ranged his Rook with 3.R-6h without closing the Bishop line . SATO also ranged his Rook with 3...R-3b . Just after 3...R-3b , KUBO seemed to be able to attack SATO's camp with the line ;4.Bx2b+ Sx2b;5.B*6e . If he selected this line , SATO would reply with 5...B*5d or 5...B*7d .

SATO completed Hon mino gakoi and pushed the 3rd file with 10...P-3f to exchange the Pawns . Replying SATO's 10...P-3f , KUBO succeeded to make Yagura gakoi . However , SATO was making ideal attacking formation against Yagura gakoi .

After some moves , SATO started attacking with 17...P-1e .

SATO tried to attack KUBO's Kakoi , but KUBO moved his generals and counter-attacked SATO's attacking pieces .

After drove away SATO's attacking pieces , KUBO also attacked SATO's Kakoi with 30.P-6e . Replying KUBO's attack , SATO succeeded to make a promoted Bishop but couldn't attack by the promoted Bishop any more and tried to defend for a while .

KUBO captured SATO's Rook and dropped it with 46.R*5a to attack SATO's Kakoi . SATO also attacked KUBO's Kakoi by dropping a Lance with 46...L*3f .
