MORIUCHI led the opening to "Yagura" opening and MORISHITA accepted it . MORIUCHI selected "San-Nana Gin senpou" as a variation of this game . "San-Nana Gin senpou" has many variations , "Yon-Roku Gin San-Nana Kei senpou" , "KATOU ryu" , "WAKI system" , etc. and each variation has further detail variations .
In this game , MORIUCHI selected "WAKI system" by B-4f and MORISHITA replied with "Go-San Gin gata" ;S-5c formation .

After entering their Kings into each Kakoi (castle) , MORISHITA advanced his right Silver through 4b to 4c , and MORIUCHI backed his Bishop at 6h to avoid Bishop exchange and to advanced his right Silver .
MORISHITA moved his Rook to 6th file and jumped his right Knight to 8e . Since Silver is more valuable than Knight , MORIUCHI escaped his 7g Silver to 8f but this move made MORIUCHI's 6th file weak in the same time . Then MORISHITA was preparing to attack in 6th file after back of 6d Bishop . To disturb this attack , MORIUCHI started attacking in 7th file .
