Shogi News : The 22nd Ryuo sen : challenger deciding tournament

The evening of 14 July 2009 , after148 moves , TOYOSHIMA won the game of Ryuo sen tournament between TANAKA and TOYOSHIMA . The winner TOYOSHIMA will have next game of this tournament with MATSUO , 23 July 2009 at Shogi Kaikan Tokyo .

TANAKA selected his original opening with 2.G4i-5h and TOYOSHIMA selected Sanken Bisha with 2...R-3b . Since TANAKA pushed P-2f after TOYOSHIMA's R-3b , TOYOSHIMA could make ISHIDA ryu formation naturaly .

After some moves , TANAKA completed Funa gakoi and TOYOSHIMA finished making Hon mino gakoi with G4a-5b .

TANAKA made Koshikakegin formation with G-5f and started attacking with P-4e . He developped his Funa gakoi to Nimai Kin gakoi with G-6i-6h . After the Bishop exchange , TOYOSHIMA tried to get an advantage with 18...B*4d .

TOYOSHIMA exchanged his Rook and TANAKA's Bishop . And dropping a Bishop on 5i and attacking TANAKA's camp .
