TAKAHASHI selected Yokofudori as the opening of this game . The game advanced a most popular Yokofudori line , but after some moves , MIURA declined Yokofudori with 8.R-2h .

TAKAHASHI dropped a Pawn with 8...P*2c to prevent MIURA's ;P*2d . MIURA exchanged the Bishops and started making Ginkanmuri . TAKAHASHI also made Ginkanmuri .

Both players let their each King enter the Kakoi . MIURA dropped a Bishop with 28.B*6a to start the battle .
