HABu sealed the 49th move . (Ryuo sen)

Shogi News : The 23rd Ryuo sen ; 7 games title match


Around 6:00 P.M. (JST) , 25 November 2010 , HABU sealed the 49th move and the game once stopped the evening . The game will restart next morning 9:00 A.M. (JST) and will end next evening .

HABU selected Kakugawari as the opening of this game and WATANABE accepted it . After the Bishop exchange , HABU started making Koshikakegin form with 9.P-4f and WATANABE also started making same form .

The game seemed to advance Kakugawari Koshikakegin doukei line , but WATANABE declined this line by 18...S-3c . HABU ranged his Rook with 19.R-4h and advanced the 2nd file Pawn with 21.P-2e to prepare a battle . Then WATANABE started attacking with 21...P-6e .

HABU dropped a Bishop with 22.B*6d attacking the 8b-Rook . WATANABE let his Rook escape with 22...R-9b and HABU sacrificing the 4th and 3rd file Pawns . WATANABE advanced the 4th file Pawn with 24...P-4f and HABU sealed the next move .
