SUGAI selected Nakabisha as the opening of this game . SHIMIZU made Funa gakoi and SUGAI started making Anaguma gakoi .

After some moves , SHIMIZU exchanged the 8th file Pawns by her Bishop and SUGAI swung his Rook with 17.R-8h to counter-attack . SHIMIZU dropped a Pawn with 17...P*8e and SUGAI moved up the Bishop with 18.B-6f to decline the Bishop exchange .

SHIMIZU also backed her Bishop with 18...B-6d and dropped a Pawn with 19...P*8f to defend the 8th file .
