By 4...Bx8h+ , KIMURA selected Ittezon Kakugawari as the opening of this game . MARUYAMA advanced the right Silver onto 4f making Hayakuri Gin attacking form .

MARUYAMA exchanged the 3rd file Pawns and KIMURA exchanged the 8th file Pawns . MARUYAMA dropped a Bishop with 16.B*7g and exchanged the Silvers and the 2nd file Pawns .

After this exchange , MARUYAMA backed his Rook with 19.R-2h and KIMURA dropped a Silver with 19...S*4d to block the 7g-Bishop's line . MARUYAMA advanced the left Silver with 20.S-8g to make his camp develop . KIMURA dropped a Pawn with 20...P*3f threatening the 2h-Rook's temple .
