Replying NAMEKATA's 2...S-6b , AKUTSU ranged his Rook with 3.R-7h making Sanken Bisha form . NAMEKATA quickly advanced the 8th file Pawn onto 8e and started attacking with 7...P-6e , before making a Kakoi .

After the Bishop exchange , NAMEKATA dropped his Bishop with 9...B*4e and succeeded to make it promoted with 11...B-6g+ . AKUTSU made Taka mino gakoi and NAMEKATA made Hidari mino .

AKUTSU started attacking the 8th file with 23.P-8f and 24.P*8d . NAMEKATA scarificed his promoted Bishop with 24...+Bx5d to counter-attack .
