MIURA selected Yokofudori as the opening of this game and HABU accepted it with 8.Rx3d . Replying HABU's 10.P*8g , MIURA backed his Rook onto 8d , and he moved up the King with 11.K-5b . Then the game became a classical Yokofudori San-San Kaku senpou line .

Both players made similar Nakazumai Gyoku , Kin Biraki formation . After the Bishop exchange , both players' Rook rapidly slid from place to place . They dropped each Bishop and tried to continue attacking .
