Shogi News; The 2nd Asahi cup shogi open ; first preround;

A game of Asahi cup between SHIMIZUKAMI (amateur) and MATSUO started 17 August 2008.

SHIMIZUKAMI selected "Shiken Bisha" as an opening . His early move of P-1f has some meaning ; (1) Sente wants to move P-6f after Gote's P-8d . (2) Sente can select "Fujii system " by dalying King's move . (3) If Gote replies P-1d , Gote wastes one move to make "Ibisha Anaguma" .
MATSUO simply started making his castle .

MATSUO seemed to make "Ibisha Anaguma" , so SHIMIZUKAMI selected "Fujii system " MATSUO forced SHIMIZUKAMI to move his King by B-4b . MATSUO didn't selected "Ibisha Anaguma ", but he selected "Kushikatsu gakoi" .
SHIMIZUKAMI made "Mino gakoi" and and advanced it "Diamond Mino" .
After the making formation , SHIMIZUKAMI already had some difficulty to defence his Bishop's head Pawn ; 7f . MATSUO started attacking with P-7e .


After 116 moves until G'4h MATSUO won this game .
