KAI won the 2nd game of the Jo-ryu Oi title match !

Shogi News : The 21st Jo-ryu Oi sen ; 5 games title match


7:08 P.M. (JST) , after 122 moves , KAI won the 2nd game of this match . The score of this match becomes "SHIMIZU 0 --- 2 KAI" .

The 3rd game of the Jo-ryu Oi sen title match will start 9:00 A.M. (JST) , 2 June 2010 at Kyu ITOH Den-emon tei , Iizuka city , Fukuoka .

SHIMIZU moved up her King with 2.K-6h to disturb KAI's Gokigen Nakabisha . After both players pushed the 9th file Pawns , KAI closed her Bishop line with 3...P-4d and ranged her Rook with 4...R-3b ; a Sanken Bisha position .

SHIMIZU advanced the 5th file Pawn and supported it by advancing a Silver with 13.S-5f . After KAI ranged her Rook again , she immediately exchanged the 5th file Pawns and crushed her Silver against SHIMIZU's 5d-Silver .

After a Silver exchange , SHIMIZU dropped her Silver again with 17.S*5f . After some moves , KAI started attacking the 3rd file with 21...P-3e .

SHIMIZU didn't reply against KAI's 21...P-3e , but jumped her aimed Knight with 22.Nx4e . After a Knight exchange , KAI captured the 3rd file Pawn with 23...Px3f .

SHIMIZU advanced the 5th file Pawn with 24.P-5d and KAI made a promoted Pawn with 24...P-3g+ attacking the 2h-Rook . SHIMIZU sacrificed her Rook with 25.Rx2d and made a promoted Bishop with 26.Bx1a+ .

KAI dropped her Rook with 26...R*3h to attack SHIMIZU's camp protecting the 3g-promoted Pawn . SHIMIZU backed her promoted Bishop with 27.+B-6f to use it for defense .

KAI sacrificed a Pawn with 27...P*4f and dropped another Pawn with 28...P*4g to attack SHIMIZU's camp by making a promoted Pawn . SHIMIZU dropped 2 Pawns with 29.P*3i & 30.P*2i to disturb KAI's attack .

SHIMIZU started attacking the 9th file , a weak point of Mino gakoi . SHIMIZU attacked here for a while and KAI's attacking turn came .
