MIURA selected Yokofudori as the opening of this game . MARUYAMA selected Shin YAMASAKI ryu as a counter-plan against MIURA's CHUZA bisha .

MIURA completed NAKAHARA gakoi and pushed the 7th file Pawn with 14...P-7d to prepare an attack .

MARUYAMA exchanged the Bishops and advanced the 3rd file Pawn with 16.P-3e aiming at the head of the 3c-Knight . MIURA dropped a Bishop with 16...B*4d and the battle started .
