SATO won with his original Mukai Bisha . (Jun'i sen)

Shogi News ; The 67th Jun'i sen A class league .

A game of Jun'i sen "A" class league between SATO and MARUYAMA started 9 October 2008 at Shogi kaikan , Sendagaya , Tokyo .

MARUYAMA selected "Ittezon Kakukawari" as the opening of this game , and SATO accepted it . After SATO's P-2e , MARUYAMA exchanged Bishops . The move P-3f seemed that SATO wanted to choice "Hayakuri Gin" , but he ranged the Rook to 8h(Mukai Bisha) after a strange move ; S-2g . The move P-3f prevented the opponent's Bishop dropping at 4e .
He had choiced same opening JT Shogi Nihon series(27 September 2008) and Daiwa shouken cup(4 May 2008) .

SATO made "Ginkanmuri" using the Silver at 2g . MARUYAMA advanced his kakoi to a variation of "Yagura gakoi" . SATO opened a battle with P-7e and MARUYAMA immediately counter attacking with P-6e .


After 109 moves SATO won the game .
