With 4.R-6h , KUSHIDA selected Shiken Bisha as the strategy of this game . KUSHIDA made Hon mino gakoi and KODAMA made Funa gakoi . KODAMA advanced his left Silver to 5c-square to prepare an attack . After strengthened the defense with 12...G4a-4b , KUSHIDA moved up his 5c-Silver with 14...S-6d and started an attack with 15...P-7e . KUSHIDA slid the Rook with 15.R-7h to counterattack .

KUSHIDA advanced the 4th file Pawn with 16.P-4e to make a space for dropping a piece . KODAMA moved up one more Silver with 17...S6b-7c to join attacking and KUSHIDA captured the 7e-Pawn with 18.Px7e .
KODAMA captured the 7e-Pawn with 18...Sx7e and KUSHIDA re-opened to escaped the aimed 7g-Bishop by a Bishop exchange . After the Bishop exchange , KODAMA dropped a Pawn with 20...P*7d to protect the 7e-Silver . KUSHIDA dropped a Bishop with 21.B*4f aiming at the 8b-Rook and the Rook escaped from the 4f-Bishop line with 21...R-8c .
KUSHIDA's Pawn drop with 22.P*7f forced KODAMA's 7e-Silver to back with 22...S7e-8d and the Silver became useless . KODAMA dropped a Bishop with 23...B*8h attacking the 7g-Rook . KUSHIDA's Rook escaped with 24.R-7h , but KODAMA succeeded to make the Bishop promoted with 24...B-9i+ .
KODAMA chased KUSHIDA's Rook , but KODAMA's Silvers were still difficult to use effectively . During some moves , KODAMA tried to attack in the 8th file , but KUSHIDA succeeded to make an attacking base in the 4th file .
