HORIGUCHI selected Yokofutori as the opening of this game . MASUDA naturally captured the 3d-Pawn with 8.Rx3d ; a move of Yokofutori . HORIGUCHI moved up his Bishop with 8...B-3c and selected Yokofutori San-San Kaku senpou .

HORIGUCHI backed his Rook with 9...R-8d and moved up his King with 11...K-5b , then the line of this game became Yokofutori NAITOU ryu . MASUDA also moved up his King with 12.K-5h sitting his King on Nakazumai Gyoku position .

After pushing the 1st file Pawn , MASUDA pushed the 3rd file Pawn with P-3f . HORIGUCHI turned his Rook with 14...R-7d aiming at the 7f-Pawn . MASUDA advanced the 3rd file Pawn with 15.P-3e to protect the 7f-Pawn by the 2f-Rook . HORIGUCHI dropped a Pawn with 15...P*2e forcing the 2f-Rook to move from 2f-square .

MASUDA captured the 2e-Pawn with 16.Rx2e and the 7f-Pawn became unprotected . HORIGUCHI captured the 7f-Pawn with 16...Rx7f . MASUDA dropped a Pawn with 17.P*7g to avoid HORIGUCHI's Bx8h+ , but this Pawn drop made the 8h-Bishop useless in the same time .

HORIGUCHI turned his Rook with 17...R-3f . MASUDA advacned the 3rd file Pawn with 18.P-3d attacking the 3c-Bishop and HORIGUCHI captured the Pawn .

MASUDA dropped a Pawn with 20.P*3e forcing the 3d-Rook to move anywhere . HORIGUCHI's Rook escaped with 20...R-5d threatening MASUDA's King . HORIGUCHI advanced his Bishop with 21...B-5e attacking the 1i-Lance , MASUDA moved up his right Gold with G-3g blocking the Bishop line .

HORIGUCHI jumped his left Knight with 22...N-3c and dropped Pawns with 23...P*3f and 24...P*2h to continue attacking . MASUDA jumped his right Knight to escape from the 2h-Pawn attack . HORIGUCHI's left Silver advanced with 25...S-2c threatening the 3f-Rook . MASUDA moved up his right Gold with 26.G-4f attacking the 5e-Bishop . HORIGUCHI sacrificed the Bishop with 26...Bx4f and succeeded to make a promoted Pawn with 27...P-2i+ .

MASUDA pushed the 7th file Pawn with 28.P-7f and sacrificing the right Knight with 29.N-2e he captured the 1a-Lance . But replying MASUDA's moves , HORIGUCHI got a Gold , a Lance and a Knight and attacked MASUDA's Rook . Sacrificing a promoted Bishop , MASUDA exchanged the Rooks , but the right side of his camp was almost broken .

After some moves , HORIGUCHI dropped a Rook checking MASUDA's King and continued attacking with 38...S*6i .
