KUSHIDA selected Shiken Bisha as the opening of this game with 5.R-6h . TAMARU made Funa gakoi and KUSHIDA made Hon mino gakoi .

TAMARU jumped his right Knight with 13...N-7c , floated the Rook with 14...R-8d and started attacking with 17...P-6e .

KUSHIDA turned back his Rook with 18.R-6h to intercept TAMARU's attack . After some moves , TAMARU exchanged the Bishops with 22...Bx7g+ and dropped it with 23...B*7i attacking the 6h-Rook . KUSHIDA didn't move the Rook to escape , but counterattacked TAMARU' Rook with 24.P-8f .

KUSHIDA also dropped a Bihsop with 26.B*7b attacking the 8a Rook and succeeded to make it promoted with 27.Bx5d+ . TAMARU drove away the promoted Bishop , but his Golds defending King's side , moved up and became useless for defend .

TAMARU exchanged his Bishop and KUSHIDA's 6h-Rook . After some moves , TAMARU succeeded to make his Rook promoted , but KUSHIDA dropped a Bishop with 39.B*9g attacking both of the 7i-promoted Rook and TAMARU's 5c-Gold .
