A shogi game of the NHK cup TV Shogi tournament between SATO Amahiko and KUBO was broadcasted 30 August 2009 .

SATO moved up his King with 2.K-6h to decline KUBO's Gokigen Nakabisha . If KUBO still tries to select Gokigen Nakabisha with 2...P-5d , he will lose an advantage . (about this line please see my other blog ; Yamajunn's Shogi opening traps )

After advanced the 9th file with 5...P-9e , KUBO selected Sanken Bisha with 7...R-3b . SATO advanced the 2nd file Pawn to decline KUBO's ISHIDA ryu hongumi and tried to make Ibisha Anaguma with 10.B-7g .

KUBO developed the right side of his camp like FUJII system and started attacking with 19...P-2d .

KUBO exchanged the 2nd file Pawn by his Rook facing the Rooks . SATO dropped a Pawn with 21.P*2e to reject the Rook exchange . KUBO backed his Rook with 21...R-2b , and moved up the Bishop with 22...B-4d aiming at the 2nd file . SATO also moved his Bishop with B-6h and advanced the 2nd file Pawn with 23.P-2d to protect KUBO's 2nd file attack .

KUBO began to attack in the 8th file with 24...P-8e . After some moves , KUBO lured SATO's King from the defence pieces .
