MIYATA selected Aigakari as the opening of this game and NAGAOKA accepted it . After the 2nd file Pawn exchange , MIYATA backed his Rook to previous position with 6.R-2h . After some moves , NAGAOKA also exchanged the 8th file Pawns and he backed the Rook at Uki-bisha position with 10...R-8d .

MIYATA advanced his right Silver and opened his Bishop line with 13.P-7f . NAGAOKA exchanged the Bishops and jumped the left Knight to decline MIYATA's Silver advance to 2e & 4e .

NAGAOKA also advanced his right Silver to 6d and started attacking with 23...P-7e .

MIYATA flexibly backed his 5f-Silver with 24.S-6g to join defense of the 7th file . NAGAOKA didn't capture the 7f-Pawn , but advanced the 3rd file Pawn and sacrificed it with 25...P-3f . After the 3rd file Pawn sacrifice , NAGAOKA dropped a Pawn with 26...P*3h threatening a Pawn promotion with P-3i+ and forcing the 2h-Rook to capture this Pawn .

After some moves , NAGAOKA turned his Rook with 31...R-2e forcing MIYATA to drop a Pawn with 32.P*2h to protect the 2nd file . NAGAOKA backed his Rook with 32.R-7e but under the 4g-promoted Bishop's power , he couldn't use the Rook well . NAGAOKA dropped a Bishop with 33...B*2e , and sacrificing the Bishop with 35...Bx5h+ he tried to continue attacking .
