Shogi News: The 58th Osho sen : 7 games title match


5:46 P.M. 25 Feburary 2009 , after 87 moves , FUKAURA won the 5th game of this match , and score become "HABU 2 --- 3 FUKAURA" . Then FUKAURA need one more win to get the title , Osho . In the other hand , HABU need 2 win without any lose . The 6th game will start 11 March 2009 at Shizuoka , and will end evening of 12 March .

When HABU pushed 8th file Pawn with 1...P-8d , most people thought the game will advanced to "Yagura" opening . But FUKAURA selected "Rikisen Furibisha" with P-5f and the game advanced so called "Wanpaku Nakabisha" . HABU exchanged the Bishops and advanced his right Silver to 6d , the newest counter plan against "Wanpaku Nakabisha" .
