SATO selected "Gokigen Nakabisha" as the opening of this game . MORIUCHI tried to lead the game "Go-Hachi Kin kyusen" variation , but SATO declined it with P-9d . This line is SUZUKI Daisuke's favorite line and he wrote this line in his shogi book . Both players started making their each Kakoi .

MORIUCHI's P-3f is an interesting move . I think this move perhaps disturbs Gote's ISHIDA ryu formation ; P-3e , R-3d shape . MORIUCHI exchanged 2nd file Pawn and SATO protected his Bishop head with G-3b .
