Shogi Game record : 2009 JT Shogi Nihon series

A shogi game of JT Shogi Nihon series between KUBO and MORIUCHI started 11 July 2009 , at Sun Messe Kagawa , Takamatsu city , Kagawa .

KUBO selected Haya ISHIDA opening with 2.P-7e in this game . MORIUCHI replied it with 2...K-4h . KUBO closed his Bishop line with 3.P-6f before moving his Rook , to avoid a rough game . If KUBO still played 3.R-7h , the game could advance following moves ; 3.R-7h Bx8h+ , 4.Sx8h B*4e , 5.G-6h Bx2g+ , 6.P-7d Px7d , 7.B*5e N-3c , 8.Rx7d P*7c , 9.Rx3d S-3b , 10.R-3f .

MORIUCHI pushed the 6th file Pawn and moved up his right Silver with 5...S-6c to decline the 7th file Pawn exchange . And he moved up his right Gold with 7...G6a-5b , to make solid Kakoi . Because MORIUCHI didn't select Bou kin attacking , KUBO moved up his left Silver .

MORIUCHI advanced the 8th file Pawn and KUBO floated his Rook with 9.R-7f to decline the 8th file Pawn exchange . MORIUCHI's Rook moved with 9...R-7b , aiming at KUBO's 7f-Rook .
After moving up the Bishop with 10.B-7g , KUBO pushed the 6th file Pawn to open the Bishop line .

In the other hand , MORIUCHI completed Hidari mino and replying KUBO's 11.P-6e MORIUCHI backed his King on 3a to protect his Bishop without exchanging the Bishops . KUBO moved up his left Gold with 12.G-7h , to prepare a Rook exchange . MORIUCHI closed his Bishop line with 12...P-4d .

KUBO pushed the 8th file Pawn with 13.P-8f , MORIUCHI didn't reply it but captured the 6e-Pawn . If MORIUCHI captured a Pawn with 13...Px8f , the game would advance a line like following moves ; 13...Px8f , 14.Rx8f P*8b , 15.P*8c .

Replying KUBO's 14.Px8e , MORIUCHI advanced his right Silver with 14...S-6d to disturb KUBO's R-8f . KUBO completed Kata mino gakoi and MORIUCHI's King entered Hidari mino .

KUBO moved up his Bishop threatening the 6d-Silver . MORIUCHI protected the Silver by backing his Bishop with 19...B-4b . KUBO dropped a Pawn with 22.P*6c , added the left Silver in defense , advanced the 8th file Pawn and turned the Rook with 25.R-8f . MORIUCHI caputred the 7e-Pawn with 25...Sx7e threatening the 8f-Rook .

KUBO floated his Rook with 26.R-8e aiming at 7e-Silver and MORIUCHI advanced the Silver with 26...S-7f counterattacking the 8e-Rook . After a Bishop exchange , KUBO slid his Rook to 7f aiming at 7f-Silver again .

MORIUCHI exchaged the Silver with KUBO's 7g-Knight and started attacking KUBO's Gin mino gakoi from the front .
