Shogi News : The 22nd Ryuo sen ; 7 games title match


Around 6:00 P.M. , 28 October 2009 , WATANABE sealed the 63rd move , and the game once stopped the evening . The game will restart next morning at 9:00 A.M. , with opening the sealed move . The game will end next evening .

WATANABE started the game will opening the Bishop line with 1.P-7f . MORIUCHI also opened the Bishop line with 1...P-3d to decline Yagura opening . WATANABE pushed the 2nd file Pawn to accept MORIUCHI's strategy .

MORIUCHI moved up his left Gold with 2...G-3b , this move mainly means the player choices Ittezon Kakukawari . WATANABE also moved up his left Gold with 3.G-7h , and replying the move , MORIUCHI closed the Bishop line with 3...P-4d .

WATANABE advanced the 2nd file Pawn with 4.P-2e to disturb MORIUCHI to make Yagura naturally . WATANABE moved up the Bishop with 7.B-7g and he seemed to plan a Bishop exchange in the 2nd file .

WATANABE didn't exchange the Bishops , but made Yagura gakoi , and the game advanced to WAKI system line .

WATANABE exchanged the 3rd file Pawn by his Bishop . Replying the 3rd file Pawn exchange , MORIUCHI dropped a Pawn with 23...P*3f aiming at the 3g-Silver & 2h-Rook . The 3g-Silver escaped from the 3f-Pawn with 24.S-4f .

MORIUCHI backed his 7c-Silver with 24...S-6b to open an escape route of the 6d-Bishop before pushing the 4th file Pawn with P-4e .

In order to decline the P-4e , WATANABE sacrificed the 5th file Pawn with 25.P-5e and turned his Rook to 5h . MORIUCHI backed his Bishop with 26...B-7c to escape form the attack of Sx5e .

WATANABE pushed the 7th file Pawn with 27.P-7e to attack the 7c-Bishop head and MORIUCHI floated his Rook with 27...R-8d to defend the Bishop head .

After sacrificing 2 Pawns in the 1st file , WATANABE captured the 7d-Pawn , and MORIUCHI also captured the 7th file Pawn with 30...Rx7d .

WATANABE sealed the 63rd move .
