Shogi Game record : The 59th NHK cup TV Shogi tournament

A shogi game of NHK cup TV shogi tournament between SATO Amahiko and SASAKI was broadcasted 12 July 2009 .

SASAKI opened his Bishop line with 1...P-3d and closed it soon with 2...P-4d . This is most basic Gote Furibisha opening . SASAKI moved his Rook with 5...R-5b , a Nakabisha position .

Both players started making their each Kakoi . SATO moved up his Bishop with 8.B-7g and this move mainly means the player starts making Ibisha Anaguma .

SASAKI advanced his left Silver with 10...S-6d aiming at both 5th file and Bishop head . SATO also moved up his right Silver with 11.S-6f to protect both position . SASAKI's Rook turned to 4b and he pushed the 4th file Pawn , aiming at the 4th file weakened position after SATO's 11.S-6f .

The strategy that SASAKI selected is called YAGURA ryu Nakabisha . The word "YAGURA" is the name of professional shogi player who plays this strategy , not means Yagura as a Kakoi or an opening .

SATO floated his Rook with 14.R-2f to decline the 4th file Pawn exchange . SASAKI completed his Kata mino gakoi . SATO moved up his right Gold with 15.G6i-7h to strengthen his Kakoi .

SASAKI moved up the Bishop with 15...B-4d threatening SATO's Rook . The Rook escaped with 16.R-3f aiming at the 3d-Pawn . SASAKI's Rook turned to 3b aiming at the 3f-Rook . SATO backed the 6f-Silver with 17.S-5g to face the Bishops each other . SATO already gave up to make Ibisha Anaguma .

SASAKI exchanged the Bishops , pushed the 3rd file Pawn and sacrificed the Pawn . And he dropped a Bishop with 20...B*1e aiming at the 2f-Rook . SATO moved the Rook with 21.R-1f to escape from the Bishop line . SASAKI made a Bishop promoted .

SATO also dropped his Bishop with 22.B*4d aiming at the 1a-Lance . The lance escaped from the Bishop line and SASAKI moved up his left Gold to give a pressure against the 4d-Bishop . SATO advanced the 3rd file Pawn and his Rook returned to the 3rd file .

Sacrificing a Pawn SASAKI attacked the 5th file of SATO's camp with dropping a Pawn on 5g . SATO made his Bishop promoted with 28.B-1a+ and threatening SASAKI's Rook .

Sacrificing a promoted Bishop with 33.+Bx3a , SATO succeeded to make a promoted Rook . SASAKI tried to use his Rook effectively .
