SUZUKI selected Nakabisha with 2.R-5h and KONDOU selected Sanken Bisha with 2...R3b . Then the opening of this game became Ai Furibisha .

SUZUKI advanced his left Silver with 7.S-4f and KONDOU quickly made Hon mino gakoi . After advanced the 5th file Pawn with 8.P-5e to block the Bishop line , SUZUKI also made Kata mino gakoi .

KONDOU developed his Kakoi to Taka mino gakoi . SUZUKI started developing his Kakoi to Ginkanmuri and KONDOU exchanged the 3rd file Pawns . Replying KONDOU's 3rd file Pawn exchange , SUZUKI slid his Rook with 17.R-3h facing the Rooks each other , and KONDOU declined Rook exchange with 17...S-3c . After some moves , KONDOU pushed the 1st file Pawn with 21...P-1e and battle started .

After sacrificing the 1st file Pawn with 21...P-1e , KONDOU pushed the 4th file Pawn with 22...P-4e attacking the 4f-Silver . After some moves , both player exchanged all Rooks and Bishops . SUZUKI dropped a Rook with 30.R*4a , and KONDOU dropped a Bishop with 30...B*5e to attack the opponent's King .

Some moves later , SUZUKI almost completely broke KONDOU's Taka mino gakoi . KONDOU gave up breaking SUZUKI's Kakoi and backed his promoted Rook with 39...+R-3b to join the defence of the King .
