Shogi Game record : The 3rd Asahi cup Shogi open ; 2nd pre-round

A shogi game of the Asahi cup 2nd pre-round between KIMURA and HIURA started 2:00 P.M. , 2 November 2009 .

With 2.P-2f , KIMURA selected Kakukawari opening as the opening of this game and HIURA accepted it . This game advanced one of the major Kakukawari Koshikakegin line , and seemed to advance Kakukawari Koshikakegin Doukei line .

But HIURA's 18...S-3c made the game different one . KIMURA swung the Rook with 19.R-4h without advancing the 2nd file Pawn and started attacking with 21.N-2e & 22.B*2h . HIURA pushed the 3rd file Pawn with 22...P-3e to counterattack .

KIMURA opened his 2h-Bishop line with 23.P-4e attacking the 4th file . captured in the 3f-Pawn with 23...Px3f . HIURA KIMURA captured the 6d-Pawn with 24.Bx6d attacking the 8b-Rook ; the Rook escaped with 24...R-9b .

KIMURA moved up his right Gold with 25.G-4g to prevent the Bishop drop on 3g . But HIURA dropped a Bishop with 25...B*5i attacking the 4h-Rook . KIMURA captured in the 4f-Pawn with 26.Px4d . After sacrificing the 7th file Pawn with 26...P-7e HIURA advanced the 2d-Silver with 27...S-3e .

After the Knight exchange , KIMURA dropped a Knight with 30.N*4e threatening the line ; 30...Gx4d , 31.Nx5c+ Gx5c , 32.Bx5c P-3g+ , 33.G-4f . HIURA captured the 4d-Pawn by his Silver with Sx4d to avoid this line . But KIMURA succeeded to exchanged his Knight and HIURA's 3c-Gold getting a material advantage .

After drove HIURA's promoted Bishop , KIMURA dropped a Gold with 35.G*8b attacking the 9b-Rook . Without the Rook's escape , HIURA dropped a Pawn with 35...P*7f and chased KIMURA's King . After some moves , KIMURA captured HIURA's Rook and HIURA captured KIMURA's Bishop . KIMURA dropped a Knight & a Rook , his attack was closing to HIURA's King .
