KUBO sealed the 41st move . (Osho sen)

Shogi News ; The 59th Osho sen ; 7 games title match

Around 6:00 P.M. (JST) , 15 January 2009 , KUBO sealed the 41st move and the game once stopped this evening . The game will restarted next morening , 9:00 A.M. (JST) and will end next evening .

KUBO selected Haya ISHIDA opening with 2.P-7e . HABU moved up his King with 2...K-4b and forced KUBO to close his Bishop line with 3.P-6f . If KUBO swung the Rook with 3.R-7h without closing the Bishop line , the game would advance very rought line . (more detail please see my blog ; Yamajunn's Shoig opening traps )

After closed the Bishop line with 3.P-6f , KUBO swung his Rook with 4.R-7h . HABU moved up his right Silver with 3...S-6b and pushed 6th file to advance the Silver .

KUBO made Kata mino gakoi . After moved up the right Silver with 6...S6a-5b , HABU advanced the 8th file Pawn . KUBO floated the Rook with 9.R-7f to decline the 8th file Pawn exchange , and HABU started attacking with 9...P-6e .

KUBO moved up the 6h Silver with 10.S-6g to join the battle . After the 6th file Pawn exchange , HABU moved up the 6c-Silver with 11...S-5d and KUBO moved up the 6i-Gold with 12.G-7h to protect the Bishop .

HABU swung the Rook with 12...R-6b , and KUBO dropped a Pawn with 13.P*6g . HABU floated the Rook with 13...R-6d . After sacrificing the 7th file Pawn with 14.P-7d , KUBO pushed the 9th file Pawn with 15.P-9f threatening the B-9g .

HABU dropped a Pawn with 15...P*6e forcing KUBO to back the 6f-Silver , and advanced the 5d-Silver with 16...S-5e to open the 6d-Rook's side . KUBO backed his 7g-Silver with 17.R-6h to open the Bishop line .

After sacrificing the 6th file Pawn with 17...P-6f , HABU jumped the right Knight with 18...N-7c . KUBO advanced the 6th file Pawn with 19.P-6e attacking the 6d-Rook . HABU didn't captured the Pawn , but slid the Rook with 19...R-5d . After sacrificed the 5th file Pawn with 20.P-5f , KUBO sealed the 41st move and the game once stopped this evening .
