Shogi Game record : The 3rd Asahi cup Shogi open ; 2nd pre-round

A shogi game of the Asahi cup 2nd pre-round between SHIMA and MARUYAMA started 10:00 A.M. , 4 November 2009 .

After both players opened the Bishop line with 1.P-7f P-3d , SHIMA closed it immediately with 2.P-6f . Replying SHIMA's move , MARUYAMA slid his Rook with 2...R-3b making Sanken Bisha formation .

After floated the Rook with 5...R-3d making ISHIDA ryu formation , MARUYAMA started making Anaguma gakoi with 9...L-9b . SHIMA made Ginkanmuri and opened the Bishop line with 18.P-6e to face the Bishops each other . MARUYAMA jumped the left Knight to decline the Bishop exchange .

SHIMA advanced his right Silver with 24.S-5e threatening a capture of the 4d-Pawn . MARUYAMA jumped the 3c-Knight preparing a counterattack . SHIMA backed the 5e-Silver with 25.S-4f and pushed the 5th file Pawn with 26.P-5e thereatening the line ; 27.B-8f xxx , 28.P-5d Px5d, 29.B-4b+ . MARUYAMA pushed thee 6th file Pawn with 26...P-6d to start an attack before SHIMA's attack .

After the Pawn exchange , SHIMA moved up his Bishop with 28.B-8f aiming the 6d-Silver , and MARUYAMA moved up the 6b-Gold with 28...G-6c to protect the Silver .

SHIMA jumped his left Knight with 29.N-7g and moved up the 6g-Gold with 30.G-5f to attack the 6th file . After sacrificing the 7th file Pawn , MARUYAMA backed and swung his Rook with 31...R-3b & 32...R-7b to join the battle around the 7th file .

After some moves , SHIMA succeeded to make a promoted Bishop with 51.B-5c+ , but by 51...S*6g MARUYAMA's attack was closing to SHIMA's King .

After 130 moves , MARUYAMA won the game .
