KITAHAMA selected Yokofutori as the opening of this game and KIMURA accepted it . Replying KIMURA's Pawn drop with 10.P*8g , KITAHAMA backed his Rook with R-8e making CHUZA Bisha form .

KITAHAMA advanced the 1st file Pawn with 16.P-1d and KIMURA backed his Rook with 17.R-2i . KITAHAMA exchanged the 8th file Pawns by his Rook threatening Rx7f .

KIMURA advanced the 4th file Pawn with 19.P-4f to develop his camp . After dropped a Pawn with P*2f , KITAHAMA captured the 7f-Pawn with 20...Rx7f . After exchanging the Bishops , KIMURA dropped 2 Pawns with 22.P*7g & 23.P*8g to drive away KITAHAMA's Rook .

KIMURA captured the 2f-Pawn with 24.Rx2f . KITAHAMA jumped the left Knight with 24...N-2e threatening the Rook exchange and captured it with 25.Nx2e . KITAHAMA dropped a Pawn with 25...P*2d killing the 2e-Night . After sacrificing the 2e-Knight with 26.N-1c+ , KIMURA backed his Rook with 27.R-2i to avoid the Rook exchange .

KITAHAMA swung his Rook with 27...R-2e still threatening the Rook exchange . KIMURA dropped a Pawn with 28.P*2f to decline the Rook exchange . KITAHAMA swung back his Rook with 28...R-8e and KIMURA developed his camp .

KITAHAMA attacked the 7th file with 30...P-7e . Replying KITAHAMA's attack , KIMURA advanced his left Silver attacking KITAHAMA's Rook . KITAHAMA slid his Rook with 33...R-5d aiming at KIMURA's King from the front . KIMURA gathered his right Gold with 34.G-4h to defend the King .

KITAHAMA dropped a Pawn with 34...P*7g threatening the Knight attack with N-6e . KITAHAMA tried to continue an attack , sacrificing a Rook .
