KUBO won the 1st game . (Osho sen title match)

7:01 P.M. (JST) , 16 January 2009 , after 117 moves , KUBO won the 1st game of the Osho sen title match . The score of this match becomes "HABU 0 --- 1 KUBO" . The 2nd game of this match will start 28 January 2009 at Hotel Kagetsu , Ohtawara city , Tochigi .

After the Bishop exchange , KUBO dropped a Pawn with 22.P*5e attacking the 5d-Rook . HABU captured the 5e-Pawn with 22...Rx5e , and KUBO dropped a Bishop with 23.B*6d forking the 5e-Rook and the 7c-Knight .

HABU's Rook escaped with 23...R-5d and KUBO captured the 7c-Knight with 24.Bx7c+ . HABU pushed the 7th file Pawn with 24...P-7e forcing the 7f-Rook to escape . KUBO backed his Rook with 25.R-7g and HABU dropped a Pawn with 25...P*6g to continue attacking .

After exchanging KUBO's Gold and HABU's Silver , HABU dropped a Bishop with 27...B*8h and KUBO advanced the 6th file Pawn with 28.P-6d . Until this move , KUBO seemed to get a slight advantage .

KUBO dropped a Silver with 30.S*4e to attack the 5d-Rook and after capruing the 7g-Knight , HABU also attack KUBO's Rook with 31...N*7e . KUBO's Rook escaped with 32.R-6e and HABU sacrificed his Rook with 32...R-5i+! forcing KUBO's 4i-Gold to move 33.Gx5i .

HABU captured the 7g-Silver with 33...Bx7g+ attacking the 5i-Gold . KUBO's Gold escaped and HABU chased the 6e-Rook with 34...+B-7f . HABU dropped a Silver with 35...S*5h attacking both the 6i-Rook and the 4i-Gold . Sacrificing a promoted Bishop , HABU continued attacking . KUBO also attacked HABU's camp .
