HAYAMIZU selected Ittezon Kakukawari as the opening of this game with 4...Bx8h+ . HONDA quickly advanced her right Silver to 2f as Bougin strategy . HAYAMIZU pushed the 1st file Pawn with 8...P-1d to decline the Silver advance with S-1e .

HONDA didn't attack in the 1st file , but advanced the 3rd file Pawn . After the 3rd file Pawn exchange , HONDA backed her 2f-Silver with 14.S-3g to reform her camp .

HAYAMIZU allowed HONDA to exchange the 2nd file Pawns . She made Koshikakegin form and advanced the 6th file Pawn with 19...P-6e to make a space for Bishop drop .

HAYAMIZU jumped her right Knight with 22...N-9c for attacking , and HONDA's King escaped with K-7i before attacked .

After some moves , HAYAMIZU jumped the 9c-Knight with 28...N-8e . But HONDA also attacked HAYAMIZU's camp with 29.P-4e without escaping the 7g-Silver . Sacrificing a Rook , HONDA tried to continue attacking . But HAYAMIZU's King escaped from the attack with 37...K-6c.
