KOBAYASHI selected Yagura as the opening of this game and WATANABE accepted it . The game naturally advanced to Shin Yagura Nijuuyonte gumi . KOBAYASHI selected 13.S-3g ; San-Nana Gin senpou line .

WATANABE moved up his Bishop with 13...B-6d , the most common reply against 13.S-3g . KOBAYASHI also moved up his Bishop with 14.B-4f and the game advanced WAKI system line .

After both players' King entered Kin Yagura , they advanced their each Rook side terminal file Pawn . KOBAYASHI pushed the 3rd file Pawn with 21.P-3e and a battle opened .

After the 3rd file Pawn exchange , WATANABE dropped a Pawn with 22...P*3f attacking the 3g-Silver and threatening the 2h-Rook . KOBAYASHI moved up his right Silver with 23.S-4f escaping from the 3f-Pawn .

WATANABE backed his 7c-Silver with 23...S-6b to open thee 6d-Bishop's escape route . Without this move , 23...P-4e seemed to kill the 4f-Silver , but Sente has counter-attack with 24.P-6e .

KOBAYASHI pushed the 5th file Pawn with 24.P-5e to block the 6d-Bishop's line and turned his Rook with 25.R-5h to attack this file . Costing 2 Pawns , WATANABE got a Knight in the 3rd file , and drop it with 28...N*9d to attack the 8th file .

KOBAYASHI captured the 5e-Pawn with 29.Sx5e attacking the 6d-Bishop and forcing the Bishop to back . After WATANABE's 29...B-7c , KOBAYASHI also backed his Bishop with 30.B-5i to defend the 8th file .

WATANABE moved up his useless 6b-Silver with S-5c to join defence . KOBAYASHI advanced the 6th file Pawn with 31.P-6e and WATANABE moved up his Bishop with 31...B-8d aiming at a Bishop promotion into 3i .

KOBAYASHI's Bishop returned to 3g threatening the 8b-Rook and WATANABE jumped the right Knight to block the Bishop's power . After pushed the 7th file Pawn with 33.P-7e and dropped a Pawn with 34.P*5d , KOBAYASHI backed his 5e-Silver with 35.S-6f . WATANABE pushed the 8th file Pawn with 35...P-8f to attack here .

After 35...P-8f , WATANABE continued attacking for a while . Sacrificing a Bishop , WATANABE succeeded to make a promoted Pawn with 52...P-9g+ .
